Historic Windows for the future
Historic houses are treasures worth preserving, but today’s energy regulations demand more. We specialise in windows for heritage properties, combining traditional craftsmanship with discreet modern technology. Our work ensures your home complies with current energy label requirements while representing the original historic look.
Heritage buildings are expected to lose some exemptions, and will require valid energy labels. To meet the new label rules while maintaining heritage character, windows must be upgraded, but sensitively, so that visual and conservation values are not compromised.
Achieving a higher-performing label may require solutions like improved glazing, better seals, and insulation, in ways that respect the original design.
