While travelling through different cultures and spaces, listening to the stories of those who lived in them, it became clear that the significance of brick and mortar, wood and loam, or even mud, shouldn't be overlooked.

It is these historic landmarks that provide colour to our stories.

CONCEPT AND BRAND DEVELOPMENT

old structures, new life

As more and more people afford to travel, commercial hotels and restaurants have grown exponentially in typical tourism destinations. And the demand for exclusive luxury destinations and hotels has increased.

Creating powerful and inspiring concepts that stand out is necessary to attract luxury travellers and build a sustainable hospitality model.

Our flagship hotel Maison Haas Hustinx in Maastricht, sits in a historic property in the city’s main square, offering an exclusive spa and upscale mediterranean restaurant. The hotel has achieved 94% occupancy rate, and sells at an ADR in the top 2% in the city. The facilities attract both locals and hotel guests, making the business robust against seasonal tourism fluctuations.
REPURPOSING HISTORIC PROPERTIES

old structures, new spaces

We’ve executed the restoration of properties in the Netherlands with protected Rijksmonument status. These projects entailed strict government regulation due to their historic relevance and protected status.

Our objective was always to breathe new life into these spaces, making them relevant for the future, energy efficient, and fitted with modern facilities.

All our development projects have resulted in top-market rental contracts and near-full occupancy over the last decade. Our aim is to continuously construct with quality materials and build processes, resulting in low post-construction maintenance costs.
OPERATIONS & DIGITALIZATION

old structures for the future

We understand that people are the heart of hospitality businesses and we have built and trained teams, combined with the right digital infrastructure, to ensure effective operations, quality customer service, and close monitoring and performance evaluation.

Our team has extensive experience in selecting and implementing software suites, dependant on the company in question and the market it operates in. The key lies in combining packages; gearing the web of services towards both costumer & staff capacity and efficiency.

Over the last years we have managed to incorperate this philosophy within a broad spectrum of properties and business models.
